A pod of dolphins was spotted in Sydney Harbour west of the bridge early this morning, a rare sighting that has been hailed as a sign of the harbour's improving environmental health.
About 10 dolphins were seen in waters off Birchgrove by a kayak tour, with the animals swimming up the Parramatta River towards Cockatoo Island.
