Zach Bates has topped qualifying at Mount Panorama, setting a blistering lap time of 2:03.938, the fastest time set in the current era of Supercars at Bathurst. He will be the last driver on the track in Saturday's Top 10 Shootout, where he will aim to secure pole position for the Bathurst 1000.
Top 10 Shootout Details
The Top 10 Shootout, which sets the first five rows of the grid for the Bathurst 1000, will be held this afternoon. The 10 fastest duos from Friday's qualifying session will hit the mountain for a shot at pole position in Sunday's Bathurst 1000.
