Fatal Crash on NSW Far South Coast: Two Pedestrians Killed

Two men have died after being struck by an SUV on the New South Wales far south coast overnight.

Emergency services were called to Tura Beach, north of Merimbula, at around 9:30 PM on Sunday following reports that two pedestrians had been hit by a vehicle.

Details of the incident

Police said the two men, aged 70 and 55, were struck by a white Nissan Dualis SUV while walking along Pacific Way. Both men died at the scene.

The 45-year-old female driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was uninjured and was taken to South East Regional Hospital in Bega for mandatory testing.

Investigation underway

NSW Police have established a crime scene and are urging anyone with information, dash-cam footage, or mobile phone footage of the incident to come forward.

Specialist police have arrived at the scene as inquiries continue.
