Pallister and Short shine at national short course championships

Lani Pallister and Sam Short have continued their winning form at the national short course championships in Sydney, adding to their impressive haul of titles this year.

The pair, who have already enjoyed success at the Commonwealth and Pan Pacific championships, combined for five titles during the event at Olympic Park Aquatic Centre.

Short sets sights on world record

Short, who has already won the 800m title, dominated the 400m freestyle event, clocking a time of 3 minutes and 35.16 seconds, well inside the Beijing qualifying time of 3:39.14.
