The Sydney Roosters have secured a spot in the NRLW grand final after a hard-fought 20-10 victory over the Canberra Raiders at Sydney Football Stadium.

The win marks the Roosters' third consecutive grand final appearance, with halfback Tarryn Aiken scoring a crucial late try to seal the deal. The Roosters, who led 10-4 at half-time, had to weather a frantic finish from the Raiders, but Aiken's try ensured they would be playing in the decider next Sunday.

Roosters Dominate Early

The Roosters started strong, with winger Jayme Fressard scoring in the left corner just two minutes into the game, after accepting a pass from skipper Isabelle Kelly. Their second try came off the back of a penalty against Raiders fullback Sheridan Gallagher for pulling Kelly's hair, allowing prop Rima Butler to score.
